Akin Akinpelu, Ph.D., Amb., FLPi is a globally engaged leadership scholar, governance practitioner, diplomat and institution builder whose work advances Africa’s long-term transformation through governance, enterprise and education.
As Special Emissary, African Union, he contributes to continental engagement around governance, institutional capacity, leadership and strategic partnerships. His work connects governments, development institutions, business, academia and citizens with the ideas and systems required to translate continental ambition into practical progress.
A Professor of Practice in Educational Leadership and an experienced board executive, he advises public, private, educational and multilateral institutions across multiple jurisdictions. His approach is systems-oriented and evidence-informed.
